Purchasing conditions pertain to the process of purchasing tickets for shows at Espace St-Denis.

Ticketpro is the official ticket provider for Espace St-Denis.
TICKET PRICES AND SERVICE CHARGES:
Ticket prices are determined by the event’s producer. Prices may vary depending upon the day of the performance and the ticket category. “Dynamic pricing“ can be applied to certain shows, meaning ticket prices can vary according to supply and demand, as is the case in the hotel and aviation industries.
Service charges are applied to cover administrative costs and are generally set at $8.50 (taxes included).
Some shows might have a service charge that is greater than $8.50. This will be because the event’s producer may request an additional fee to cover administrative costs.
To learn the ticket prices for shows you wish to attend, go to Espace St-Denis’ website, locate the “Show“ page and then click on the “Tickets“ button. All prices include taxes and service charges, regardless of ticket category and purchase method.
DINNER-SHOW PACKAGES AT STUDIO-CABARET
Certain events at Studio-Cabaret offer dinner-show packages. These can be purchased concurrently when purchasing tickets. Meals are served at specific locations in Studio-Cabaret’s floor area that are identified on the seating plan. Specific table location can be chosen, and each table can sit four guests. Guests must arrive two hours before the scheduled time of the show.
ACCEPTED CREDIT AND DEBIT CARDS:
Accepted credit cards are Visa, MasterCard and American Express. TD and RBC debit cards are accepted for online purchases. All purchases are subject to Ticketpro’s approval and the financial institutions issuing the accepted credit or debit cards.
BEFORE COMPLETING YOUR PURCHASE: Carefully check the show’s title, date, time and ticket category BEFORE purchasing. NO REFUNDS will be granted once a sale has been completed.
When purchasing online, each of the following steps must be followed on the Events page of Espace St-Denis’ website:
Select the date and time of your desired show. From this step onwards, you will have left Espace St-Denis’ website and entered Ticketpro’s secure site.
Enter the desired quantity of tickets as well as the category or price level you’d like. You can also purchase / reserve a parking spot when purchasing your show ticket. Upon doing so, you will receive an email from the parking lot operator to confirm your parking reservation. If you do not wish to reserve a parking spot, then proceed to the next step.
Choose the desired delivery method: Digital ticket; Smartphone ticket; In person at the ticket office on the day of the event; or by regular mail (see relevant section below).
In the final stage, you will need to log onto your secure Ticketpro account to complete the transaction. If you do not have a Ticketpro account, you will need to create one by completing the required fields on the reservation form (name, mailing address and email address, as well as information that appears on the authorized credit or debit card) in order to proceed with the purchase.
Immediately upon completion of your transaction, you will receive a receipt for your order by email. You will then receive a second email that will include your digital tickets as an attachment.

Two forms of digital tickets are available: a printable digital ticket (the next paragraph has the details), and a ready-to-scan ticket for smartphones. You are not required to report to the theater’s ticket office upon arrival when in possession of either format – you can go directly to the hall’s entrance where your ticket will be scanned.
PROCEDURE REGARDING PRINT-OUTS OF DIGITAL TICKETS
A ticket to be printed will be sent to you digitally as an attachment in your order confirmation email. You will need to come to the theater with your printed ticket. The barcode on your ticket is unique and will be scanned at the entrance to the hall. It is strictly forbidden to reproduce, duplicate or counterfeit the ticket in any way.
Fees for ticket delivery depend upon the delivery method selected:
a. Digital or smartphone tickets: no charge
b. Tickets collected at the ticket office on the day of the event: $6.00 per order *
c. Tickets sent by mail: $5.00 per order **
d. Tickets sent by XpressPost: $20.00 ***
* Ticket collection at the theater’s ticket office: Only the person who purchased the tickets using their credit card can collect their tickets at the theater’s ticket office. Both the credit card used for the purchase as well as photo identification must be presented. If someone other than the credit card holder comes to the ticket office to collect tickets, they must have with them written authorization from the credit card holder as well as photo identification.
** When there are 12 days or less before the performance, non-digital tickets can no longer be mailed using regular postal service. These tickets must therefore be collected at the Espace St-Denis ticket office.
*** Tickets can be sent at any time using Canada Post’s XpressPost service for a $20.00 fee. Tickets can be delivered anywhere within Canada, and the recipient’s address has to be the same as the one on the credit card invoice. This delivery method must be requested by telephone at (514) 790-1111 or toll free at 1 800 848-1594.
IF A TICKET IS LOST…

IF A SHOW IS CANCELLED…
Should the producer cancel a show for any reason, Ticketpro will notify ticket holders by email to make alternate arrangements (depending upon the situation). If the show has more than one performance, then tickets can be exchanged for another date. If it is a single-date show, ticket holders will be able to obtain a point-of-sale refund in the original payment method.
IF A SHOW IS POSTPONED…
Ticketpro will notify ticket holders by email if a show is postponed and rescheduled to a later date. Ticket holders will have two options: (1) Keep their tickets, which will be honored on the new date or, (2) If the tickets cannot be used on the new date, a refund can be obtained so long as the request is made promptly, or at the very least BEFORE the rescheduled event takes place.
Generally speaking, and subject to the event producer’s authorization, exchanging tickets is permitted under certain conditions:
(1) The request must come from the person who made the initial purchase; and (2) The request must be made within 10 days of purchase and at least 7 days before the date of the show for which the tickets are to be exchanged. Tickets can be exchanged for another show from the Espace St-Denis schedule (either Théàtre St-Denis or Studio-Cabaret) at the regular price. If the alternative show is lower-priced, then Espace St-Denis will reimburse the difference in the form of a gift certificate (if applicable). An administrative fee of $3.50 per ticket will be applied. Ticket exchanges can be made by telephone at (514) 790-1111 or toll free at 1 800 848-1594.
Presale tickets for new shows or supplementary shows are frequently offered before tickets go on sale to the general public. Presale tickets are offered to Espace St-Denis newsletter subscribers, and usually have a 24-to-48 hour duration. To be eligible, you must be a newsletter subscriber.
The event producer may periodically offer discounts under certain conditions. These are usually advertised in Espace St-Denis newsletters. Promotions are always for a limited time and do not apply to purchases that have already been made. Revised pricing can occur for some shows at different times during their sales period. The show’s producer may decide to change ticket prices without notice.
The event’s producer may decide to offer a group rate. Conditions – such as the minimum number of people required and the discount granted – are determined by the producer. Some shows may not offer group rates. The service charge is generally $8.50 per ticket, but it may be less if the group is a minimum of 30 people.
