Roadwork and traffic disruptions expected from July 2 to 12, 2026

Plan your visit to Espace St-Denis!

Between July 2 and 12, 2026, access to Espace St-Denis by car may be more difficult. Saint-Denis Street will be closed to traffic between De Maisonneuve Boulevard East and Sainte-Catherine Street East, near Place Pasteur. We encourage you to use public transit or active transportation during this period. Our performance hall is located just a few steps from the Berri-UQAM – Édicule St-Denis (D) exit, at the corner of De Maisonneuve Boulevard, heading north on St-Denis Street.

If you are traveling by car, we recommend using the following parking lots:

For more details, please consult the City of Montreal’s road closure map.

Closure of Berri Street and De Maisonneuve East Boulevard

  • Berri Street: closed between Ontario and Sainte-Catherine Streets.
  • De Maisonneuve East Boulevard: closed between Berri and Saint-Hubert Streets.

Access to institutions, businesses, and restaurants will be maintained at all times. Pedestrian corridors will be set up to facilitate movement.

Several changes are to be expected: follow the posted signs.

  • Saint-Hubert Street is one-way (northbound)
  • Sanguinet Street will become two-way
  • De Maisonneuve East Boulevard will be closed between Savoie Alley and Saint-Hubert Street
  • Berri Street will be closed between Ontario Street and Sainte-Catherine Street
  • Savoie Alley will be one-way (from Ontario Street toward De Maisonneuve Boulevard)

Visit the project’s webpage for the recommended route.

The bike lanes on Berri Street and De Maisonneuve Boulevard will be rerouted to Ontario Street and Atateken Street. On-site signage indicates the recommended detour via the bike lane.

The Saint-Denis-Maisonneuve ticket kiosk, located near Espace St-Denis, will remain open.
