A free and exclusive performance all about Théâtre St-Denis’ history by Denis Bouchard, November 6 at the Studio-Cabaret!
Mark your calendars: On Sunday, November 6, between 12:00 p.m. (noon) and 5:00 p.m., there will be five performances of “Le St-Denis dans l’Espace,” an exclusive presentation performed by well-known comedian Denis Bouchard. The show, which will be free of charge, recounts Théâtre St-Denis’ fabulous centennial history, from its 1916 inauguration right up to the present day. Bouchard will also evoke the many great artists, from here and elsewhere, who have stood on Théâtre St-Denis’ stage.
Given in the new Studio-Cabaret, the four French performances and one English performance will see Denis Bouchard offer a presentation that is at once poetic, comical and explosive… just like the mythical venue to which he pays tribute! And, thanks to archival images that will be projected on the hall’s dazzling 180-degree LED screens, spectators will be taken on a wonderful journey to the heart of Théâtre St-Denis’ history.
You are also invited to visit the new facilities at Espace St-Denis, including the television control rooms, and the new bar-terrace Le Marie-Louise.
